The breeding habitat is sparse deciduous forests and heaths in southern Ontario, eastern and southeastern United States, and Mexico They build a cupped nest similar to that of the hummingbird on the horizontal branches of trees.. They migrate to the Southern United States, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Cuba, the Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands. Dimensions: 9-11 cm. Wingspan: 15-17 cm.
