| It nests in northern Canada and the northeastern extremity of Siberia, and winters in regions far south of the continent, in the southern USA and beyond. This species is a rare visitor to Europe, but in this continent escapes from the various collections are frequent and some of these wild specimens have reproduced. Dimensions: 65-75 cm.
