| It nests in North America, especially around the Great Lakes and central Canada. It winters in the United States, especially in the coastal zones and in lesser number in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean. Annual in Northern Europe, very rare accidental in Italy. Dimensions: 41-49 cm. Wingspan: 112-124 cm. | |||||
